 No visit to Millport is complete without a stop at the island’s most famous landmark. Crocodile Rock has been delighting visitors for generations and sits right by the promenade. Kids love climbing it, adults love the nostalgia, and it’s one of the most photographed spots on the island. 

 Millport has several small beaches and paddling spots that are perfect for warm days, beachcombing, or a refreshing dip. The sheltered bay makes it a popular place for families, while quieter spots around the island are ideal if you’re looking for a bit more peace and quiet. 

 For a touch of history, visit the Cathedral of the Isles, often described as Britain’s smallest cathedral. It’s a beautiful, peaceful space and well worth a look.

 Millport is reached by a short ferry crossing from Largs. Once you arrive, the town is compact and easy to explore on foot — no car needed.
