Millport’s promenade is the heart of the town and perfect for an easy wander. Watch boats in the bay, enjoy the colourful beach huts, or simply sit and take in the view across the Firth of Clyde. From here, you can walk for miles along the coast or stop every few minutes for photos, coffee, or an ice cream.

🐊 A Visit to Crocodile Rock

 No visit to Millport is complete without a stop at the island’s most famous landmark. Crocodile Rock has been delighting visitors for generations and sits right by the promenade. Kids love climbing it, adults love the nostalgia, and it’s one of the most photographed spots on the island.

 For a touch of history, visit the Cathedral of the Isles, often described as Britain’s smallest cathedral. It’s a beautiful, peaceful space and well worth a look.

 Millport is reached by a short ferry crossing from Largs. Once you arrive, the town is compact and easy to explore on foot — no car needed.
