Shoreline Escape is a ground-floor holiday flat in Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae, just a few steps from the promenade. The beach, cafés, coastal walks, and the famous Crocodile Rock are all close by. 

Millport is reached by ferry from Largs to Cumbrae Slip. The crossing is short and frequent. Once on the island, Millport town is a short drive or bus journey away. 

• Check-in: From 3:00 pm - we will message when the property is available if earlier
• Check-out: By 11:00 am

 Yes — fresh bedding and towels are provided for all guests, so you can pack light. 

 The bathroom includes the following:

• Hand wash
• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Body wash
• Hairdryer

 The kitchen has been thoughtfully appointed to offer a refined, home‑from‑home experience. You’ll find high‑quality appliances and everything you need for effortless dining, including:

• Oven & hob
• Microwave
• Dishwasher (with one premium tablet provided per day of your stay)
• Washing machine
• Fridge/freezer
• Kettle, toaster, cookware & utensils

For added comfort, we provide a curated selection of kitchen essentials — salt, pepper, tea, coffee and sugar sachets — along with a coffee pod machine for a smooth, barista‑style start to your morning.

Additional touches include:

• An indoor clothes airer
• Access to a communal outdoor washing line directly from the kitchen

 Yes — a washing machine is provided, along with an airer and access to the communal washing line.  A couple of washing pods will be available

Shoreline Escape comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests:

• One double bed in the main bedroom — the ideal option for a restful night
• A double fold-out sofa bed in the front room, complete with a mattress topper for added comfort

The flat has electric heating with individual thermostats in each room, so you can adjust the temperature to suit your comfort. 

What’s Allowed

We warmly welcome up to two small dogs or one medium‑sized dog.
To maintain the comfort and quality of the space, no other pets are permitted.

Garden Use

Please note that dogs are not permitted to use the garden for toileting.
There is a lovely grassy area directly across from the flat, ideal for quick comfort breaks, and the promenade offers a beautiful route for longer walks.

Inside the Flat

To preserve the high standard of the flat for all guests, we ask that:

Dogs are not left unattended in the property

Dogs remain off all furniture and beds

Guests bring their own dog beds, bowls, and towels to ensure their pets are comfortable

Being a Good Neighbour

As the flat is part of a peaceful residential setting, please ensure dogs are kept quiet and settled, particularly during early mornings and evenings.

No parties or events.
As the flat has neighbours, we ask guests to be respectful, especially when arriving or leaving. 

 The bathroom features a walk-in shower with a fixed glass screen with a 40cm entrance. It’s designed to be practical, modern, and easy to use. 

 Millport offers:

• Cycling around the island
• Cafés, shops & classic seaside attractions
• Crocodile Rock (less than 50 metres away!)

Shoreline Escape is designed to be a comfortable, relaxed home-from-home. Whether you’re here for fresh sea air, family time, or a quiet island break, we hope you enjoy your stay and make some great memories. 

 Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival.

Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will incur a 50% charge of the accommodation cost.

Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival, or failure to arrive, will be charged at 100% of the accommodation cost.

If we are able to re-let the dates, we will always do our best to refund any recovered nights.
